The Apostles' Creed was written by thoughtful Christians who attempted to describe the divine mystery in coherent human language. Sixteen centuries after it was adopted at a general church council, it still challenges Christians to think precisely about what they believe. Using the Creed as its basic outline, this book seeks to present the fundamental truths of the Christian faith in an understandable way, examining these beliefs from the perspective of the Wesleyan tradition.
