Considers the somewhat uneven response of the church and the shortfalls of the response of institutionalized medicine, and urges a spiritual response that embraces paradox and engages in the discernment needed to weather and emerge "reset" from this crisis. Also draws on the work of ecopsychologists/ecophilosphers Theodore Roszak and David Abram to examine "zoonotic spillover as a spiritual imperative."
